The Confidence Project

One of the three or four books I am currently reading (I switch between them rather than read simultaneously) is the Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin. The main points I have taken so for (and admittedly I'm only halfway through) are if you make a conscious effort to improve something in your life, in Gretchen's case happiness, it appears to work and even more interestingly she states that happiness and unhappiness are not two sides of the same coin.

Can these lessons be applied in trying to build confidence and self esteem?

Well, there is only one way to find out.

I plan to implement my very own Confidence Project and will update on it using this blog.

By focusing on implementing tools and techniques like CBT and others can I improve my confidence?

Can I build my confidence whilst remaining, hopefully sincere and egalitarian? (Well, we have all met characters with the opposite problem and I'm pretty keen to avoid coming across as narcissistic.)

Cheers
